Deviant crime after deviant crime! *EDIT*

AxSoris: SUCCESS -Solo Work Pays Off-So last night, after many hours of work over the past week, I finally found the right person at the domain host to contact. I explained about the malware, and how it's so bad my computer won't allow me access to the links, as well as mentioning how hundreds of artists here at dA had been stolen from. The copyright dA automatically puts under each submission was helpful with that part.
Within two hours of that conversation, AxSoris was SHUT DOWN. It is no longer on the web and is still held by the same domain host, preventing them from taking it to a new one. Well, so far anyway.
Spread the word folks, Cassie, aka. Vixen525 succeeded in stopping AxSoris. Hopefully for good. It certainly looks that way.

If you want to report them, it's for Copyright infringement. And because of pop-up adverts for pr0n. I bet they still contain viruses, but I'm not sure. And if there are adverts, they get money. They get money from your arts.

At first sight, Axsoris.com may just look like a simple home interior website....but when you search for YOUR DEVIANT NAME in the search bar, lo and behold: they have stolen your deviations. And even deviations that are in your favourites.

Guess what?

This website is not just commiting a crime, but is a crime in itself. Ladies and gentlemen.....this is THE worst case of art theft I've ever seen. I could only presume this website was set up by those exact same bots who were responsible for the worst case of spamming on dA for two reasons:

1. THIS fiasco began almost immediately after those spambots flooded the comments sections of newly uploaded deviations (hence the title of this journal entry), and
2. Axsoris.com has carbon copies of practically EVERY SINGLE DOWNLOAD-ENABLED DEVIATION THAT WAS EVER UPLOADED TO DEVIANTART.

I think the robots might be triumphing over us after all, because not even a group of people could cope with the vast amount of new deviations being uploaded every next second. I'm pretty sure that if you search for authors of newly uploaded deviations, such deviations would be there in all their stolen glory. Fellow deviants have asked the site to remove infringing content, but Axsoris is still stealing regardless.

I'm afraid the admins will NOT be able to help. They are all giant cowards, and the fact that they "cannot deal with cases of art theft outside of deviantART.com" proves it. That means it's up to us...and the big government agencies, I guess. If you don't want to see your work stolen on Axsoris for the sake of infecting others' computers, PLEASE temporarily disable downloading on your work until the case is resolved.

Tell this to your friends if you haven't already. This is very important news, and I want everybody to be aware about it.
